AMS Signs LOI for Automotive Plastics Processing Facility Automotive Materials Stewardship Inc. (AMS) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Letter of Intent with an experienced recycling organization to advance the development of a dedicated Automotive Plastics processing facility in Ontario. This initiative represents a significant step in expanding Ontario’s domestic recycling capacity for used oil containers and antifreeze containers. The proposed facility is expected to deliver high recycling efficiency outcomes and support the long-term, in-province management of materials generated within the AMS system. AMS continues to evolve its system in alignment with regulatory requirements, including the development of permanent, domestic infrastructure to support responsible recycling and reduce reliance on interim processing arrangements. AMS remains committed to transparent, compliant and environmentally responsible management of Automotive Plastics and will provide further updates as the Project progresses.
